Quick post because a) it's late b) I kind of had a long day - I met with Jess early this morning at the Pancake Manor for breakfast and had this huge plate with nuts, grilled banana and chocolate ice cream. Yummy, but a little bit heavy to digest even after walking up and down the Mall this morning. I spent the afternoon in; weather today has been beautiful, but it was chilly and windy outside.
Tonight Mitsu and Martina came over. It was Marti's birthday and she baked us some meringues. Mitsu, on the other hand, might move in with Alberto some place in the neigbourhood and she came over to discuss details and meet him.
When Cake got back from work I helped her out with an essay she is to hand over to her uncle tomorrow. I'm not saying I don't enjoy explaining her about grammar and stuff - because I actually do - it's just that sometimes it's so hard to understand each other that things take more time and we end up finishing revising the essay at midnight. That can be tough sometimes.
Post rapido perché a) è tardi b) ho avuto una lunga giornata - mi sono incontrata con Jess questa mattina per colazione alla Pancake Manor e mi sono presa questo piattazzo completo di noci, banana grigliata e gelato al cioccolato. Buonissimo per carità, però un po' pesante da digerire anche dopo aver camminato su e giù per il Mall per tutto il resto della mattinata.
Il pomeriggio l'ho passato in casa; il tempo era meraviglioso oggi, però faceva freddino e tirava un'arietta! (:P)
Questa sera, Mitsu e Martina sono passate di qui. Era il compleanno di Marti e ci ha portato delle meringhe appena sfornate. Mitsu, invece, è venuta a casa per discutere alcuni dettagli con Alberto e conoscerlo, dato che c'è un'altissima probabilità che andranno a condividere un appartamento in zona.
Quando Cake è tornata dal lavoro, l'ho aiutata con una mini produzione scritta che deve consegnare domani a suo zio. Non dico che non mi piaccia spiegarle le varie regole grammaticali e trucchetti vari - perché mentirei - però a volte è davvero dura capirsi e chiudiamo con la correzione a mezzanotte. Può davvero essere un lavoraccio alle volte.
